Campbell Shaw is a lighting designer and programmer based in Southern California. Campbell got his start in 6th grade, lighting theater shows. Since then, he has gone on to light numerous productions in live theatre, dance, concerts, corporate events, and other experiences.

Storytelling is core to Campbell’s work; he believes that everything has a story and a great lighting design has to be story-based.

Campbell believes the core of a good lighting design is putting the audience’s experience first and creating opportunity for them to make lasting memories and connections.

For Campbell, the most magical moment of a show is when a room of hundreds grows silent, pulled into the story; he knows this is created through collaboration, storytelling, and relentless attention to detail.
